At the first call, set what a node can lock. Later, set its additional funding; existing locks stay reserved and only an unfunded increment creates a deficiency.

trades

In {U,V}, U delivers x to V and V pays y to U, as in Table 1.

coordination groups

Choose each trade’s groups and target shares. Whole proportional lots preserve both legs; any share adjustment needed at the selected minimum unit is recorded.

epochs

An exchange epoch settles the trades. A margin epoch posts λ times each trade’s x in y, from the x deliverer to its counterparty.
